About Me

Gratefully, Mesa is a personal blog about gratitude and recognizing the “good things” in life. Life is full of little joys, treasures, and moments that are often taken for granted. Being grateful focuses on living in the now and appreciating what we have in this moment instead of anticipating what we will gain in the next. Good things are all around, all you need to do is take time to see them for what they are and savor in the moment. Happy reading and hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by! Gratefully, Mesa

{gratitude} It's Raining, It's Pouring, Our Two Pugs Are Snoring

"There ain't no way to find out why a snorer can't hear himself snore." - Mark Twain

What kinds of sounds do you find relaxing?  The shooshing of waves on a deserted beach, wind chimes gently chiming in the breeze, crickets chirping on a hot summer night?  What sound do I find comforting and relaxing??  Puppy snores… specifically pug snores.  Granted my husband & I have to sleep on a separate level of the house because of the volume of these snores, but while napping on the couch or working on the computer, there is just nothing quite like hearing the little motor boat noises ascending from our little flat faced pooches.  It is a noise that has become soothingly familiar and resonates the feeling  of being home, no matter where we are at the moment and for that I am truly grateful.

Gratefully,
     Mesa
